This year’s study trip to Lisbon

Sandra MyrtueNews

This year, KI’s study trip went to Lisbon, where a packed programme offered a good mix of academic inspiration, new perspectives and time together as colleagues.

An important part of the trip was to get closer to the Portuguese construction industry and gain insights and inspiration. The program included workshops, visits to 360 Engineering and trips to various construction sites in Lisbon. It gave us the opportunity to exchange experiences and bring home new inputs.

Professionalism and community on the programme

For KI, a study trip is not just about the academic aspects. It is at least as much about spending time together – and not just when we solve projects and tasks together.

Therefore, there was also room in the program to experience Portugal together. The trip went past the colorful Pena Palace and the coastal town of Cascais, among other places. There was also time to explore Lisbon, enjoy the good weather and be together in a more informal setting. A few even sneaked in a surf lesson.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s study trip a really amazing experience.
