Moesgaard Museum, which is one of our projects, has been named one of the World’s 14 coolest new museums by Air Canada. We are proud to be a part of the team behind this exciting and innovative museum.
Here’s what Air Canada has to say about Moesgaard Museum:
“‘What makes humans tick’ could well sum up the main focus for this minimalist concrete repository for all things ethnographical. On view are Grauballe Man, the world’s best-preserved bog body; the re-enactment of a Viking battle displayed in a room with floor-to-ceiling screens; and an exhibit of how different cultures remember their dead. Travel further back in time, to the era of the proto-humans replicated in the foyer of the building, including Lucy, recreated by artists Adrie and Alfons Kennis. And while the shows delve into the past, the architects literally dug themselves out of a hole – letting the building rise from the hills like a buried treasure being brought to the surface for all to view.”
