It is with great pleasure that we can announce the opening of our new department in Aarhus – an important milestone that brings us even closer to our customers and partners in Jutland.
At KI, we do not chase growth for the sake of growth. Our focus is on delivering value-adding solutions and a high level of professionalism in everything we do. With the new department, we strengthen our local presence and open up new opportunities for collaboration and development – all with the ambition of creating the best solutions.
Director Einar Ingólfsson puts it this way:
“We are incredibly proud and happy that Jesper and Janus have agreed to lead our new department in Aarhus. Everything we do at KI is rooted in our ambition to deliver the best possible engineering solutions to our customers. Our new department in Aarhus gives us proximity to existing customers and opens up completely new opportunities for customers, partners and employees.”

Jesper Bechmann Olsen has been appointed as head of our new office in Aarhus. He is a trained engineer in building design and has previously been chief statistician at Give Steel and consulting engineer at AFRY (ÅF). After five years of collaboration, Jesper knows KI intimately – and we couldn’t agree more when he says:
“KI are ultra-nerds with a really high academic level. They are also pleasant, honest and solution-oriented – a perfect match with my values and my way of working,” says Jesper.
Janus R. Schultz is KI’s new commercial manager and he works in Aarhus. He comes with a broad experience from the construction industry and has previously worked with sales and development of solutions for large projects. Janus thus has the right competencies to strengthen our presence and open new doors for KI in Jutland.

KI Aarhus is located in the high-rise building TRÆ at Sydhavnen – the tallest building in Denmark, which has a load-bearing structure in timber. As structural engineers, we are deeply inspired by the house and look forward to making it our base.
If you are in the neighborhood, Jesper and Janus are happy to offer a cup of coffee or a tour. We look forward to showing what we can do – now also in Aarhus!
