Last Friday we had our annual Christmas party, which this year included everything from Æbleskiver to bridge-building and table football.
Since we do love engineering so much, we always have an engineering-themed competition to get the party going. This year the objective was to build bridges out of straws and tape. Each group had 15 minutes, a pack of straws and a roll of tape to make a bridge to cross a span of 30 centimeters and carry as much weight as possible.
