At the beginning of July, we at KI were able to welcome our new senior engineer Michael Jeilsø.
Michael comes with a solid 12 years of experience from the concrete element industry, where he has designed beams, walls and columns for everything from residential and commercial buildings to stadiums. Having someone on the team with in-depth knowledge of production will make it possible to think of optimal solutions early in the projects, and thus have a smoother process. Michael has been used to receiving material from consulting engineers, and is now looking forward to being able to participate earlier in the projects himself and to have more influence on their design.
At KI, Michael will strengthen our concrete department. He is already working on the first projects, which include a hotel in Iceland and a new laboratory for a major Danish pharmaceutical company. At his previous workplace, Michael tried his hand at OPTUM CS, and he is looking forward to being able to use this revolutionary software in his work, and even have direct access to the developers from our sister company Optum CE.
Michael has already got a good impression of KI and is particularly happy about the international and highly inspiring environment. He appreciates the exciting projects and the high focus on knowledge sharing.
A warm welcome to Michael! We are extremely happy to have him on the team, and we look forward to getting to know him better.
