Location: Valby, Copenhagen, Denmark
Completed: 2023
The parking house at Kontorværket stands as a testament to efficiency and sustainability. Featuring a steel frame with a concrete deck and a facade adorned with greenery, it boasts space for 280 cars and 16 ground-level spaces. Innovative column placement optimizes parking space while reducing foundation costs. Its design, developed through a strategic partnership, emphasizes short construction times and adaptability for future purposes beyond parking.

Fog Lyngby
Location: Lyngby, Copenhagen, Denmark
Completed: 2022
Designed as part of a larger corporate headquarters, the Fog Lyngby parking house accommodates 229 cars across three decks, expandable to eight. Its steel and concrete construction, adorned with a wooden facade, mirrors the adjacent building, offering a seamless integration. This project, similar to others by KI, focuses on standardized elements for swift assembly and disassembly, ensuring adaptability and future expansion.

Set to host up to 600 cars on 14 levels, the Egedal parking facility highlights a steel-concrete composite design for cost efficiency and rapid construction. Its corten-colored aluminum facade resonates with the municipality's vision, incorporating greenery and a modern industrial aesthetic. This project exemplifies elegant engineering and future adaptability in a minimalistic structure.

Location: Gladsaxe, Denmark
Completed: 2019
Among Denmark's largest, Tobaksbyen's parking house boasts 780 indoor spots and 40 outdoor spaces. Its swift completion within nine months stands as a testament to the use of standardized elements, promoting ease in assembly and future modifications. The open construction, with its brass-colored stretch-metal facade, prioritizes natural light, ventilation, and a welcoming environment for users.

Herlev Hospital
Location: Herlev, Denmark
Completed: 2018
Responding to Herlev Hospital's growth, this project offers 524 parking spots across 11 levels. Its dark bronze-colored anodized stretch metal facade complements the hospital's aesthetic, featuring a dynamic design that integrates natural elements. KI was main structural designer on the above-ground steel and concrete construction. This included optimizing columns, beams, concrete slabs and ramps, as well as the fire design of the beams and columns among other things.
